About the Class

This Beginner Acoustic Guitar Class is an 8-week, hands-on course of the basics of the acoustic guitar. This will be an in-person class where students will have the ability to grow at their own pace in a relaxed environment with an expandable goal of learning the first steps in playing a full song. Music fundamentals will be taught from a worship perspective that can be adapted to many other genres of music.

About the Instructor

Hello! My name is Tim! I was born and raised in Utah in a Christian family, but it was in worship that I saw my faith bloom into something more than a lifestyle. I started playing music in 2009 when I was about 12, with the violin as my first instrument. I then picked up guitar and bass and other instruments as I started helping out with my church worship team. Since then, my passion has become stronger and stronger as I have continued growing and getting more excited about what God has planned for me!
